KitchenAid Artisan Series Refurbished 5 Qt. Tilt Head Stand Mixer model has a 325-watt motor, stainless steel bowl with comfort handle and a tilt-head mixer design that provides easy access to bowl and beaters. Burnished or coated beater included with purchase dependent on availability.KitchenAid’s Artisan stand mixer is a substantial piece of equipment: 325 watts of mixing power make child’s play of creaming butter, kneading dough, and whipping cream. The kid in you will appreciate how quick and easy it is to mix up a batch of cookie dough. This model comes with three attachments: a flat beater for making batter, meat loaf, and all textures in-between; a wire whip for egg whites, mayonnaise, and more air-infused creations; and a hook for mixing and kneading yeast doughs. All three are solidly constructed and easily secured to the beater shaft with a simple twist. The bowl itself locks tight to the base. Standing about 15 inches high, jutting out a foot, and weighing more than a grown woman’s bowling ball, this stand mixer isn’t the sort of appliance you’ll wipe down and put away. Better to find a square foot of free counter space for easy access; besides, this machine is as pretty as it is rugged–you’ll want to show it off. –Betsy Danheim

love my refurbished mixer!, August 2, 2016

I looked on KitchenAid’s website and saw that the 5qt Artisan was $430, so I came to Amazon to find it cheaper. I sorted by the lowest price, as one does, and found this thing for half the price. Now, I am the kind of person who NEVER buys used things because I’m always worried that the first person wanted to get rid of it because something was wrong with it. But since this said “FACTORY refurbished,” I decided to look into it. I read the description about it going back through the factory inspection so that all the mechanics work perfectly well and the only thing that could possibly be wrong with it would be marks in the paint. It also comes with all the original parts (3 beaters, a bowl, and an instruction/recipe book) and a 6 month warranty. It had a 4.5 star rating with over 400 reviews, so I decided to buy it. I also paid a little more for the 2 year warranty, just in case. It had a couple tiny scratches on it here and there, but you wouldn’t notice unless you were lookin for them. It was definitely worth it to get a perfectly functioning mixer for half price! Would definitely recommend this to a friend to save a bundle. Also thinking about buying a slash guard and a second bowl so I don’t have to stop and wash it if I’m making more than one thing at once.

I can’t say enough how thrilled I am with this purchase. I ordered the classic white, which never goes out of style. It looked absolutely brand new; not a scuff or scratch anywhere. It works so beautifully! I’ve been happily mixing, kneading and whisking since it arrived right after Thanksgiving. It got a workout in December with holiday cookies, cakes and made baking so much easier. It came with a recipe book (the pizza dough recipe is really good) with lots of ideas to get you started. I couldn’t be more pleased and give this kitchen whiz my HIGHEST recommendation!

Love My Kitchen Aid 😍💖, August 3, 2017

My kitchen aid is great!! I am having no problems with how it works, except an east fix. When I first got it I washed the bowl like normal and it gave off this gray/metal residue. I was worried so I looked up how to fix it and all you have to do is coat the inside with oil (it is olive oil but I used vegetable) and I filled it up with hot water. I let it sit and repeated just to make sure and it worked like a charm. Overall I believe this is worth the investment and a total steal!! Mine came with the dough, paddle, and whisk/whip attachment.

Dehumidifier dries quickly, pump is a convenient feature, August 27, 2017

This review is from: Frigidaire FFAP7033T1 70 13.1-Pint Bucket Capacity, Mesh Filter and Effortless Humidity Control, Dehumidifier with Built-in Pump in White (Kitchen)
The dehumidifier itself dries my basement quickly and circulates the air better than I would have expected. I’m pleased with the relative quietness of this unit given its drying capability.

More info on the pump: The pump will not kick on until the water tank is full. When it does, it basically empties the tank through the drain hose and starts over. It’s difficult to see from the product photos, but the pump system is *separate* from the gravity drain. The included pump hose is around 15 feet long. The tube is around 5/16″ in diameter, so I was able to fit the tube through the wall with a coax cable style pass-through into a sump pit on the other side of the wall.

If you plan on using the gravity drain or emptying the tank manually, you might consider the less expensive unit without a pump and save yourself ~$80.

    Pros:
+ Relatively quiet compared to other dehumidifiers I’ve used. Although the fan is audible, it’s difficult to tell when the compressor is running.
+ The powerful fan circulates air well. I found the humidity was controlled to within a few percentage points even in the parts of my basement far from where the dehumidifier was located.
+ The pump was very easy to set up and a ~15′ drain tube was included, no adapters needed. I was able to pump it up to a sink while the dehumidifier was on the ground without shortening the pump tube.

    Cons:
    – The power cord should be longer; it’s inconveniently short compared to other models.
    – The water tank is relatively small, so plan on using the pump or drain hose if you don’t want to empty the tank multiple times per day.
    – The pump hose connection uses a simple push-in connection, no threads or barbs. It seems to work fine without any leaks, but I would feel better with a stronger connection to the hose.

Pump stopped working after 4 months, April 14, 2018

This review is from: Frigidaire FFAP7033T1 70 13.1-Pint Bucket Capacity, Mesh Filter and Effortless Humidity Control, Dehumidifier with Built-in Pump in White (Kitchen)
Worked great for 4 months, then the pump stopped pumping. I specifically bought this model for the pump so we wouldn’t have to empty the bucket 3 or 4 times a day. Called Frigidaire and they’re having us take it to a local repair shop under warranty. I’ll update this after the repairs are done.

    5/11/18 update:
The repair shop couldn’t or wouldn’t fix it per Frigidaire’s instructions. I received a letter in the mail saying that if I sent, by certified mail, a copy of the invoice and the sticker with the serial #, they would refund my purchase price, minus the tax. So not too bad. Still disappointed the pump only worked for 4 months; it was very convenient. I’ll update this if and when I get the check from Frigidaire, so you’ll be able to gauge their customer service/warranty for yourselves.

    6/4/18 update:
Just received a prepaid giftcard from Frigidaire for the amount I paid. Would’ve preferred a check, but this will do…
